SAG Women Football: India achieve title hat-trick

The Indian Womens Football Team achieved a hat-trick by winning third consecutive gold medal at the South Asian Games after beating hosts Nepal 2-0 in the summit clash at Pokhara Stadium in Pokhara today.

Bala Devi was the star of the final as she netted both the goals. The 29-year-old striker also ended as the top-scorer of the tournament, netting five goals in four matches. Odisha defender Jabamani Tudu was part of the 20-member Indian team. She also scored a goal against Maldives.
